First contest win!

Yesterday was pretty awesome, I won my first photo competition. While I haven't ever entered a lot of contests, I decided to enter the monthly Camera's Brookwood contest for the chance to win their $125 prize. I was really proud of this shot, and I'm glad others love it as much as I do. The story behind getting this photo was quite interesting in itself! I drove downtown to City Federal, and went to the top of their parking deck for this shot. I stayed up there for about an hour before I decided it was time to go, was about 8:30PM, only to discover my car battery was dead. So, few minutes pass and I get my car to start and begin to leave only to get to the exit of the parking deck which requires $2 for after hours exit..I only had $20 bills. With no way to leave my car to get change, I had to sit in the parking deck for another hour and wait for somebody to come bail me out. It was quite the outing, and I walked away with something worth the hassle.
